What we collect
Walton Lions ARC keeps only the personal information needed to run the club safely and legally: your name and contact details, emergency contact, Section 21 firearms declaration, subscription status, attendance and scores, and any incident reports you're named in. Visitor sign-ins also record a signature, IP address and browser identifier for the safety audit trail.
Why we keep it
We keep member data to administer membership, run competitions, meet insurance obligations and comply with UK firearms law. Visitor logs are kept for six years to satisfy insurance requirements and are then destroyed.
Who sees it
Only the elected committee and appointed admin assistants can read the full membership register or the visitor log. Your public member profile (name, category, handicap) is visible to other Shooter-tier members inside the portal. We do not sell data to anyone.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold on you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete you (subject to our insurance retention obligations). Contact the secretary in writing.
Cookies
The website uses a single functional cookie to remember your sign-in and your cookie choice. We don't run advertising or third-party tracking.
Manage cookies
You can change your cookie preferences at any time.
